The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking fellows for a one-year research fellowship position in basic science and translational research. We invite highly motivated medical students or recent graduates to apply for this opportunity. The research fellows will be expected to participate in ongoing lab-based projects in the areas of bone toxicology and bone regenerative medicine that will heavily emphasize animal (mouse, rat, and rabbit) pre-clinical surgical models. Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in one or more clinical research projects as well, and they are also invited to participate in clinical and educational activities hosted by the Northwestern University Orthopaedic Residency Program. Although bench or animal research experience is a plus, no prior experience is required. This position offers a monthly stipend. You will work most closely with Dr. Wellington Hsu MD, Dr. Erin Hsu PhD and Dr. Romie Gibly MD PhD. Visit our webpage at hsuortholab.com.

Applicants should submit a CV and a brief statement of interest to [email protected]
