Please someone..give me an honest opinion. I just found out that I only passed surgery. I've gotten high pass on everything my first 3 years except 3 classes which i passed and i honored 1 1st year class. I got 233 on step 1 and have gotten excellent comments from all my preceptors. i've already done 1 away at a good program and gotten 3 letters out of it and will also get a couple good letters from my home program. I'm doing some research now but probably won't get a publication by the time I interview. I'm desperate to do Ortho and can't stomach the thought of doing anything else. Do I have any chance?
i got outstanding in everything but surgery, and i matched at my first choice in ortho
rock your aways and no one will care (or likely notice)

not to rag on you, but these kinds of posts are growing long in the tooth. if you look hard enough, you can find someone in your exact situation who matched, and at least one who didn't.

the process sucks, but if you really want ortho, bust your ass, and don't look back.

nice to see some of the interns returning to contribute. god bless the 80 cap.

the post is clearly a stress reliever. you may have some explaining to do with your pass, but strong letters hide weak grades in my humble opinion.
