Extensive work experience between undergrad and med school (in business finance).
I know this is a very subjective question to ask and there is plenty of information in the forums about stats like this. However, I have been told by my letter writers that they would expect me to be offered interviews at a majority of the places that I apply (don't know why, perhaps it is the diverse background on my CV). The bottom line is the bottom line but I don't want to cost myself opportunity to match to save a few hundred bucks. I'm thinking 40 programs. Any feedback?
