The Orthopedic Foot and Ankle team at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care is seeking competitive applicants for a one-year paid, full-time Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Research Fellowship for 2024-2025. This applicant will be working at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital in Miami, Florida, under the guidance of Dr. Cary Chapman, Dr. Thomas San Giovanni, and Dr. Christopher Hodgkins. We are seeking a fellow who is engaged, personal, and a self-starter. Ideally, candidates will have finished their third year of medical school, but we do consider unmatched recent medical graduates. Prior experience in IRB writing, scientific writing, literature review, and/or statistical analysis is preferred. We are unable to offer visas at this time.The expected start date will be June 1st, 2024.The clinical research fellow will be able to engage directly with attending surgeons, acquire hands-on clinical experience, and undertake multiple research projects, all while deepening their understanding of orthopedic surgery.
