I interviewed this past weekend at boston u. does anyone know about the malignancy of the program? I heard it is quite extreme. is this true?
We are NOT malignant! It's a work hard/play hard environment.
balboa, check your pm.
anybody else out there want to talk about BU, feel free to pm me. I love my program and would be happy to answer your questions!
not to say that BU is malignant, but you may want to hold off on answering a ton of questions like this until you are at least a few months into your PGY2 year. i know that our interns rotating through on the ortho service only have a slight idea as to the inner workings and true personality of the program. you are still in the honeymoon period.
point well taken. i just want to clear up those rumors of our "malignancy". if i had found the program to be that way as a rotator or during interviews i don't think i would have considered it so highly. also, i have a good friend who is a PGY-2 who encouraged me to come to BU.
hey ... have been following your post and just wondered if you could give an update on how you are finding things at BU?
Also, I am an English FMG and so am not familiar with the term maligancy in referring to programs? I think I can infer what you mean but can you explain it accurately?
