I was wondering if people could tell me which programs spend a lot of time at county hospitals with large immigrant populations, particularly spanish speaking hospitals. My home institution is basically a county hospital and (more than I expected) I have really enjoyed my time working with spanish speaking immigrants, and also feel that in these places there is often more operative experience. I know that people say at certain institutions, like USC and Miami, that there are a large number of Spanish speaking patients. I am hoping others can tell me what other programs have similar arrangements with large county hospitals with Spanish speaking patient populations (and other immigrant population stats would be helpful).
