Wondering if anyone had an opinion on whether the type of research done before applying to ortho residencies really mattered, or are they just looking for any type of research experience...For instance, I have my masters in structural engineering and did concrete research for a year and a half for that masters program a few years ago. This past summer I worked with a faculty member to basically do a ~big literature search on congenital heart defects that we are hoping to publish. What do you think...Do you think that I should be worried about this or am I getting carpel tunnel for nothing writing this question?[/i]
