This is sort of off-topic, but ESPN.com has an article on Dr. James Andrews and his sports medicine practice. I thought it was a really good read, and figured that some of you might be interested.

Well the article started out good, but way too much Andrews-worship for me. I almost vomited when I got to page 20. There are several inaccuracies and lies in the article, especially regarding his practice politics and financial aspects of his 'empire'. I felt that much of this information in the article was inappropriate for a layperson to read on ESPN.

Andrews is a pioneer in sports medicine and is a good surgeon. Let's leave it at that. No need to elevate him to deity status. Many are better surgeons...few, if any are more well-known.
