Gap Year Research Assistant Position in Clinical Research  - Vanderbilt Medical Center, Anesthesiology This project would best suit someone with a tad research experience, who is interested in patient interaction, aging research, clinical research, and learning about anatomy/physiology/ and biochemistry of the human body. This project in aging research with Alzheimer’s patients involves quantitative sensory testing, which is pain response testing. We are looking at if our interventions improve post-surgical pain, function and opioid use outcomes in Alzheimer’s patients. Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in science, medicine or psychology from an accredited University, and have a strong motivation and interest in medicine and clinical research. This job is a one-year position, we will not accept candidates or applicants who need to leave the job early, no exceptions. The start date may vary but will be before the end of 2023.
