I'm going to be doing an away at USC in September. I'm flying out from Ohio, so no car for me. Has anyone else done a rotation at USC or is planning on doing one this year? What resources should I look at to get housing close to the hospital? I've emailed the visiting program coordinator, but no reply yet. Just thought I'd ask here as well. Thanks.

I'm planning to do the USC rotation the month of Nov. I too am looking for housing and am from a far way place I cannot drive from.

I know there's a Seaver Hall on the Health Sciences campus, which is a dorm filled mostly with pharmacy residents. However, I am having trouble finding out how to contact them to look for sublets.

I've talked to the program coordinator who has simply responded saying to look at craigslist and rotatingroom. If you find anything, I'd love to know as well.

Without a car you're kind of stranded in a less than optimal area. There are definitely some apartments within walking distance, but they're not exactly safe for walking at all times USC may own some apartments in the area, and I know some people do rent somewhere around there, but Seaver is your best bet. Either way, I'd find someone different to contact at SC... here's a start...
