I'm a north west guy, so I don't know about about eastern schools/programs. I'm looking for info about the not-so-obvious programs from DC on up.

I have heard some good things from some people about Brown; does anyone have anything to share (especially about level of competitiveness relative to Boston or other New England programs)?
