hey

I know this has probably been asked million times. I am graduating from a US med school. Avge grades. Step I 235/98, Step II 245. Good letters.

Whats my probability of matching in Ortho?

Any help would be appreciated.

You are a (presumably) smart individual. Look at the objective data. Guage your competitiveness. No one here knows anything other than what is in those documents.

Can you match? Absolutely. Will you match? Who knows?

Those are good scores. You read a lot of stuff on here with people talking about their 265 and other 99.9999% scores. Who knows if that are blowing smoke up your you know what. I can see how someone would worry about that. If you are disciplined enough to make good step I and II scores I am assuming that you are disciplined enough to do well enough on clinical stuff to make good grades. That said, if you are well-rounded, not lazy, not socially awkward you will make a good impression and get good letters. These usually = good prospects of matching.
