I also rotated at Mt. Sinai. The attendings and residents are all incredibly friendly and easy to get along with. The majority of attendings go by their first names with the residents. They have a good time in the OR, joking around, listening to music etc, while still teaching a great deal and allowing the junior residents to do entire cases!

As with all rotations, be enthusiastic, work hard etc.
