I have to choose which subrotations I want to do during my away rotation. The away has two, two week rotations during the month. Is there any strategy in which rotations I pick? Should I pick ones with exposure to the chair, PD? Should I try to do trauma? Should I try to do what I am interested in?

Thanks for the info.

Depends on which program... I'd recommend trying to get ahold of a current resident. I've been told not to rotate with the chairman at some places, and it's required at others.

Is there any good way of finding out how many away rotators individual programs taker per year? I know it can very from only a few to more than the program interviews.
