Ortho PDs /Chairmain backgrounds

Seems like the overwhelming majority of orthopedic program directors & chairmen have backgrounds in Joints & Arthoplasty, or Traumatology, or Spine.

Wondering if anybody knows any PDs/Chairman who are Pediatricians? Or Hand guys? Or Sports? Or Tumor?
I am pretty sure that the pd at georgetown is a peds guy.

The chair at Hopkins, Frassica, is a tumor guy.
The chair at NYU HJD, Zuckerman is a shoulder guy.
The char at Michigan, Carpenter, is a sports guy.

actually, to keep this thread going, as I feel it is helpful to know who where does what:

Ranjan Gupta - UC Irvine Chair - Shoulder & Hand

and I'm not so sure about Georgetown pd being peds, think he's actually spine

Good plan. Dr. Gupta at UCI is a great guy -- also probably the youngest chair in the country -- impressive.

Currently, in Memphis at The Campbell Clinic, our department chair, Dr. Canale, is peds/sports, our chief of staff is sports, and our residency director is foot and ankle
