Position Title: Clinical Research Fellow

The research fellow will work under the direct mentorship of Dr. Howard Routman (Program Director at HCA JFK Orthopedic Residency).

Position Duties:
• Design and execute numerous prospective and retrospective clinical studies, book chapters, invited review articles, IRB submissions, protocols, and grant proposals.
• Statistical analysis of data
• Manage prospective randomized controlled trials
• Manage a group of medical students interested in orthopaedic research
Position Benefits:
• The research fellow should expect to have 15-25 publications/chapters/abstracts by the end of the research year.
• Engage closely with the residency program by participating in fracture conferences, grand rounds, journal clubs, and hands-on training initiatives such as cadaver labs.
• Opportunities to present research at local, national, and international orthopaedic conferences
