We are happy to announce our first Remote Research Assistantship program. The assistantship program is housed in a level I trauma center in Chicago. This is a non-paid, part-time (20 hours/week), remote position. The work hours are flexible, and the meetings will occur through Webex.

The primary responsibilities are:
• Perform literature reviews
• Write research protocols
• Assist in data analysis
• Compose manuscripts and research letters

The program is designed to meet the needs of M3/M4 students and recent graduates to participate in orthopedic research and publication during this unprecedented time. The applicants can expect to publish 10 to 15 manuscripts by the end of the year.

Preferred qualities:
• Highly motivated
• Excellent composition and analytical writing skills
• Experience in clinical research (preferred, but not necessary)
• Proficient in reference management software (Endnote, Zotero etc.)
• Familiarity with statistical software is a plus
