Department of orthopaedic surgery at Seton Hall University is seeking a recently graduated or unmatched US-Allopathic medical school graduate for a 2-year long paid research fellowship. This is a salaried position that will begin on or before June 1, 2017 and is open to all candidates who will be medical school graduates by that time.

This unique opportunity allows the fellow to work closely with Dr. McInenrey, Dr. Scillia, Dr. Festa, our residents, and all other faculty.

Position Title: Physician Research Fellow

Duration: 2 Years

Where: Seton Hall Orthopaedic Surgery/St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center

When: June 2017-June 2019

Salary: Annual salary

Duties of the research coordinator will include:
- Coordination of multi-center trials/studies
- Statistical analysis of data
- Submission of protocols to the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
- Drafting and assisting in the writing/editing of sports medicine papers/abstracts/book chapters

Specific Prerequisites and Characteristics of the coordinators should include:
- Strong motivation for a career in orthopaedic surgery
- Proven interest in research
- MUST be extremely organized
- MUST be detail oriented
- MUST be able to self manage
- Strong academic record
