Start Date: Flexible (Targeting May–June 2025)Position Overview:The research fellow will work directly with the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and orthopaedic spine faculty in a high-volume academic research setting. Responsibilities include:
- Development and coordination of clinical research studies
- Retrospective chart reviews and prospective data collection
- IRB preparation and submission
- Statistical analysis and database management
- Manuscript writing and submission to peer-reviewed journals
- Abstract, poster, and podium presentation preparation
- Participation in weekly departmental academic and research meetings

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Fourth-year medical students who did not match into orthopaedic surgery are strongly encouraged to apply

- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
- Able to manage multiple projects independently
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata, GraphPad) is preferred but not required
