Subject: RE: PGY-2 applicant

Thank you for your interest in our orthopaedic program.  At the present time
we have no openings at the PGY-II, PGY-III, PGY-IV, or PGY-V level, and I do
not anticipate any.  However, we will keep your letter on file and should
such an opening occur, we will contact you regarding an application.

Our department uses the ERAS application process and so does not send/accept
applications by mail.   We have four positions available each year, all
PGY-I positions through the match.

I would advise you to contact the Dean's Office of your graduating medical
school for more specific information about the ERAS application process or
you may look up the web site at http://www.aamc.org/eras.

Your interest in the Stanford University Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
Program is appreciated, and I wish you success in your career.

Sincerely,

Karen Denny
