I decided to take step 2 "early" because I'm confident that I can improve on my step 1 score and I wanted my score to be a part of my application when I apply... I see on the NBME website that those taking it during the period that I'm taking it (August 12 - mid Sept) will not get their scores until October 6. Is that still early enough for it to be taken into consideration for many programs in terms of interview invites and whatnot?
