UCLA financial problems

Here is an interesting article I saw in the LA Times today about financial problems at UCLA. Anyone know what impact this might have on the ortho department?

I think you have to register first in order to access it.
The link was broken for me, I have heard that they are combining with another hosp with a large endowment, and that should sol;ve those problems. They are building a giant new ortho hosp in Santa Monica. I generallly think financial problems have little effect on residents.
