UCSF away rotation - Spine service

Has anyone done an away rotation with the spine service at UCSF? I'm currently a MS3 planning on going into ortho and starting to think about aways. I was thinking about doing an away rotation at UCSF spine because I have worked with a faculty member on some research during undergrad. Wanted to know what people who've done the away with the spine service thought of their time/experience there. Thanks!
Has the reputation as the busiest and hardest rotation at UCSF.
I think this can be a bit of a double-edged sword--you can be a standout for working especially hard or for not being able to work hard enough. You probably have an edge if you already know the faculty from your research. Try to spend time with Dr. Hu and Dr. Tay.
