Just curious as to anyones thoughts on the UW interview/social events this weekend. We are always looking for ways to improve the expereince and hopefully give applicants a good idea of what our program is about.

Specifics to maybe comment about...We changed the interview format from one interview by a large panel to two smaller groups this year...Did you like this format? Thoughts on fri dinner at our chairmans house? low key enough, too much to do in one weekend? Thoughts on the resident social? Did you see enough of the city? the residents? the hospitals to feel if you could fit here? If not what would you have liked to have seen/done? Thanks! any comments will be helpful as we make our plans for next year. Good Luck!
The interview day went pretty smoothly in my opinion. I think having two interviews was a good thing. The only thing I would change is that I would have someone knocking on doors to make sure they stay on schedule.

I was a huge fan of having two socials - I could only make the one on sat because I flew in late friday. It was great to have the option. I saw plently of the city, hospitals and residents to be able to make my decision.

I hope this helps. thanks!

Two socials was great ... both for those who could only make one and for those who planned to spend the entire weekend in town.

For those with the afternoon interviews, the day proved to be a little on the long side ... 6am start with a finish around 4pm (especially if you're interviewing last). AM interviewees had it made being done after lunch.

I don't have any ideas for how to fill those open blocks for the pm interviewees ... maybe a feats of strenth contest? Overall though, a really great weekend.
