Does someone know from personal experience or from something they heard which programs contact applicants?
I'll tell you after the rank lists are in, or after I match.

you don't have to say specifically which ones contacted you. you can say what you've heard without incriminating yourself

I haven't gotten any calls or emails, but there was a Hummer in my driveway with a program's name on the license plate. For the sake of the program and myself, I would rather not mention which program.

Was it an original Hummer, or just an H2? My program director says that if they are only willing to drop 50K on the H2, then you still may only be ranked "moderately" high on their list. If, however, they go for the gusto with the 100K H1, then you should be money.

Don't worry so much about the call. I and several of my cointerns matched at one of the programs you are discussing without getting a call. Good luck, there will be a lot of suprises on match day. I can promise that some of you are a lot more competitive than you think to match at a great program.
