Let's start this thread.
Only our top choices? Might as well give our whole ROL, don't you think? I'd be interested in seeing how my ROL compares with everyone elses.

your ROL is probably the best in the country. You can post it and make people jealous.
Previously people would put their top choice and would write why, just to bounce off some ideas. Since ROL is all said and done.

WashU #1 because it is, hands down, the best all-around program in the country. Only thing HSS has on it is NYC. There, I said it...

Wisconsin is my first - great program with fun attendings and residents, very nice college town as a bonus.

In fairness, any of my top four or five would make me just as happy, but I have to pick something for my #1 spot.

Greenville: great community program with excellent training which is evident by one PGY5 entering general practice. Good trauma service. Mentorship model of training besides trauma. Hawkins name alone can help with Sports fellowships. Great group of residents. Very affordable city with a great economy highlighted by Michelin and BMW.

San Antonio - Good group of residents, amazing faculty still kicking around (Rockwood, Green, Wilkins, Morrey), lots of trauma, and very close family ties to the city.
