I have not been able to find out much about the Wright State program. Has anyone rotated there? Is anyone currently there who could provide me with some general information? Does this program place a heavy emphasis on rotators in its selection of residents?
i greaduated from there and am now an intern elsewhere. the program is good. residents get great fellowships spots throughout the country. The program is a bit of a boys club, which is a shame, because the residents are all cool guys. The trauma experience is great. They see PLENTY, as the main hospital, MVH covers 20+ counties in Ohio and several in Indiana as well. The only area that has limited exposure is Joints, as there isn't a dedicated service. Residents still see plenty of hips and knees, especially at the VA. The VA is great for residents, as you will get to operate a lot.

They seem have a good bit of weight on rotating there. I know two of the current interns rotated there. Hope this helps

i rotated here a few years ago and it is a very solid program that is off of the map. the only two weaknesses are location and reputation. but they operate a ton and all of the residents are solid.

they heavily favor rotators and it is definitely a boys club. pm with more info.
