The current approach to the treatment of multiple sclerosis includes symptomatic treatment, treatment of acute relapses, and the use of drugs that modify the course of the disease. Symptomatic treatment is used to reduce the severity of symptoms and complications caused by the disease, such as fatigue, spasticity, ataxia, gait disturbances, weakness, and more. In case of recurrence, treatment with corticosteroids in large doses is performed. The effectiveness of such pulse therapy is higher if it is started within the first two weeks after the onset of an exacerbation.

Medical treatment of multiple sclerosis is prescribed after a comprehensive examination of the patient. The basis of treatment is the intake of immunosuppressants and hormonal drugs - tecfidara. A qualified doctor will help you choose a personalized treatment regimen.
