pfft.. don't worry about it cnh... any place is good to be at.. Any place.

You heard negatory from columbia? interesting. I wonder if they have gotten through everyone.. no word yet.

I seem to recall getting my rejections much more promptly.. Only have like 2 rejections.. I don't get it.

Also had an attending tell me all the places I had interviews at basically suck. I hate this sh*t...

It depends. Sometimes schools send out invites in a couple batches or a few per day. So if the invites came out a long time ago, then you're probably out, but if they just came out recently, don't lose hope.

Yeah, I’m finding it helpful to look through the rejections thread from last year. There is also a thread called “No letter rejection” or something like that listing some of the programs that don’t send out rejections.

I should also add that a significant number of programs will never "officially" tell you that your rejected. You won't hear a peep out of them regarding your status either way.

Yeah, if a program has sent out offers and you didn't get one then you can pretty much count it as a rejection. The only exception would be if that program has sent out both offers and rejections, and you didn't get either message. In that scenario, you're likely on a waitlist and thus still have a shot.

is not hearing from a program synonymous with getting rejected because I know several (10) programs i applied to have sent out interview and I have not gotten either rejected nor invited so.....just curious what that means....
