The Orthopaedic Joints division at Cedars - Sinai Medical Center is seeking a US-based medical student to serve as our research associate for the 2024- 2025 academic year.The Orthopaedic Department at Cedars - Sinai Medical Center is the 2nd ranked orthopaedic department in the nation according to US News and World Report. The Orthopaedic Joints division is led by our chief Brad Penenberg. The other members are Guy Paiement, Andrew Spitzer, and Sean Rajaee. Our research associates will work to develop, execute, and publish original scientific research over the course of the year. They will have opportunities for clinical exposure in the clinic and operating room. The associate will be a Cedars - Sinai employee and compensated accordingly.We seek a medical student who can self-motivate, is organized and task-oriented, and has the ability to learn new skills. The ideal candidate is a current 3rd year student who desires a year between 3rd and 4th year for research.
