anyone else feel like this train is slowing down? I’m still waiting to hear from 15 or so programs but I feel like the last two weeks were much more rapid fire than this week?

I feel like whether you think the "train is slowing down" depends on where you applied geographically. seems like some regions are much earlier than others, based on a cursory glance at the invites thread.

Agreed that it seems to have slowed down a bit in the last 1.5 weeks, hoping for it to pick up again in the near future! In looking at last years threads it seems that late November/early December was a hot time.

My stats are not above average for ortho (Step 1 <240). My application strengths are having a graduate degree, several 1st author pubs in a related field, and I improved ~30 pts on step2. I imagine my other grades, letters, etc. are very similar to most applicants.
