if u arent able to attend one of the dinner/meet&greet events prior to an interview is it looked upon very badly???

in some instances, the situation may occur that u have an interview during the day and then a dinner that night in another city.

Needless to say, to attend would be better, but is it necessarily a strike against u to RSVP no??

let me know, feel free to PM or post a reply... and i'm still looking for that Hamot switch if anyone is able.

I'm also wondering what the skinny is the get-togethers the night before.
It'd be great if I could go and meet the residents, but since I can't be there, do I come across as not interested?
