2024-2026 Hospital for Special Surgery Orthopaedic Research Coordinator Position – Dr. Jose Rodriguez
Dr. Jose Rodriguez invites all interested and qualified individuals to apply for a two-year Orthopaedic Research Coordinator position in the Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Service at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY, NY. This presents a unique opportunity to work with renowned faculty in the field of hip and knee reconstructive surgery.
The research coordinator will work closely with Dr. Rodriguez and his clinical team, as well as departmental research assistants, biostatisticians, and the institution’s IRB. Duties include assisting in study design, gathering and analyzing data, filming and editing surgical videos, submitting and presenting current work at regional and national conferences, and preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, the research coordinator will have the opportunity to attend the weekly Adult Reconstruction Grand Rounds and the cadaver labs.
Past coordinators have published in multiple journals and presented at multiple annual orthopaedic meetings. We are proud to say that our past research coordinators have gone on to match with success into an orthopaedic surgical residency.
