I am an incoming 4th year at WashU and I am coming out to San Francisco in September (Sept. 1-26) for a rotation at St. Mary's. I have no place to stay and would love any help with this large problem. The hospital is near Golden Gate Park, if you aren't familiar with it. I will have my car, too. The thing is, I have little-to-no money and would love suggestions on birdie lodgings- cheap, cheap, cheap! Please reply to this or pm me. Thanks.

there is a huge housing board at UCSF, so you may want to contact them as well. lots of UCSF student will be vacating their apartments about then to do aways of their own, and believe me, they will not be just moving out. shouldn't be difficult to find a sublet. as far as parking, you're on your own. i should warn you that they are not joking about enforcement in SF. buenas suerte (and don't miss zona rosa burritos on haight street at the base of the panhandle)
