I think you will see all this info on match day, when everyone tells this....so hold on to your pants till march.
The other thing I am starting to notice, is that there is much more than all these numbers.....who writes you letters and who reads the letters is soooo important. If the person reading one of your letters knows the guy who wrote the letter....it means a lot more.......you get the idea....
ortho is a small world and a lot of chatting goes on about students at conferences and other networking type activities....
so you are naieve to think that you can boil all this down to step 1 score and AOA, research......
If you had to pick 50 people to interview out of 600 you would see a lot of well qualified people not get selected.....
so I caution you not to underestimate.....the who you know and who you have impressed category.....because I think this is what actually gets you matched.....
