WEAK!!! If you want to kill yourself to be a traumatologist, then rank them highly. I don't know if anyone else got this impression, but they didn't seem to know what was really going on. Maybe they just didn't have the financial resources, or they just haven't come around yet, or the area just lends itself to only trauma, but that is entirely what their residency is based upon. At the same time, they don't even have a dedicated trauma rotation. The way I understood their residency to work, they do trauma, heavy trauma, all of the time, with other stuff (joints, peds, hand) mixed in randomly when you have time to do it. I don't want to bash it too badly (cause any of us could end up being there on March 20th if it comes to that), but heck, I want to be able to concentrate on a certain area of ortho and get it down without screwing around all the time with other stuff. Maybe I missed the boat that day, inform me if I did.
