for posterity...
This email provides important information about the schedule for releasing
NRMP Match information during Match Week, March 15-19, 2004. All times
are eastern standard time.
All applicants will receive their Did I Match? information on the web and
by email at noon on Monday, March 15th, letting them know whether-but not
where-they matched. Beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Match Day, Thursday, March
18th, matched applicants will be able to access their Where Did I Match?
information on the web, letting them know to which program(s) they matched.
Applicants will be able to access their certified rank order lists throughout
Match Week.
The List of Unfilled Programs will be available to unmatched and partially
matched applicants by email and on the web beginning at noon on Tuesday,
March 16th. A pdf file of the list (approximately 250 KB) will be emailed
to those applicants beginning at noon. To obtain the list through the
NRMP web site, applicants must log in to the Registration, Ranking, and
Results System with their AAMC ID number and password, and then click the
Unfilled Programs link on the left menu bar.
Applicants who certified a rank order list but did not match to a PGY-1
or PGY-2 position will have access on the web site to the new, "dynamic"
List of Unfilled Programs with links by specialty. As positions are filled
during the "scramble", programs can delete them from the unfilled list.
The list will be updated on the web site every 30 minutes.
Fully matched applicants WILL NOT receive ANY information on unfilled programs/
positions by email or be able to access it on the NRMP web site.
The Match Outcome for All Programs, which previously was posted to the
web site on Friday of Match Week, will not be available until Monday, March
22nd.
Under the Match Participation Agreement signed by all applicants, it is
a Match violation to begin contacting programs prior to noon on Tuesday
of Match Week, March 16th, when the "scramble" begins. If the NRMP receives
evidence that an applicant has violated this rule, an investigation will
be initiated and sanctions may be applied as outlined in the NRMP's Violations
Policy, which can be found on the NRMP web site at .
Our best wishes for a successful Match!
