I'll be applying for Match 04 & I'm not terribly optimistic about my chances.
I was wondering how difficult it is if you don't match for PGY-1 Ortho. How hard is it to transfer after doing PGY-1 as a Surg-Prelim? Are there only a few open spots each year? Seems like quite a few opened up this year.
