Second Wave?

Seconded. Not seeing anything personally and movement seems even relatively sluggish on this forum

I think of it this way: x% of programs sent out invites before thanksgiving-1st wave, and 100-x% of programs sent out invites after thanksgiving-2nd wave. It seems most programs have sent out their invites and have filled their spots. What I am hoping for is that more will go out as people begin to withdraw from programs and cancel their invites.

yea I don't know about a full 'wave', but probably more of a trickle here and there of individual offers. After the holidays there are only a few more weeks of interview season and the programs have likely filled/planned their interview days. Considering there will be low turnover in the immediate week after NYE, there is even less interview time remaining.

Probably just a trickling in of interviews to specific people?
