Where: The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Missouri Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), University of Missouri
Ideal candidates:
Pursuing a career in research, and/or
Medical school graduates or current 4th year medical students possibly seeking future residencies
Duties of the Research Intern:
Coordinate all aspects of assigned research projects
Prepare research protocols/applications (IRB, IACUC, HIPAA, etc.)
Identify, consent, and act as a resource for study participants
Collect data on research subjects via review of patient charts, imaging, follow-up visits, etc.
maintenance of databases
