Anybody want to share questions they were asked that may have been challenging or irregular? What it was like? I understand if people do not want to share because of how competative you people are but just throwin this out there...
I have my first interview in a 2 weeks...I'll post whatever I get asked.
Let's see, I got the "why do you think you didn't match last year?" question. Ya, no matter how well you prepare for that question, it is never easy, since you don't really know the answer.
However, of the six interviewers at two programs I've had so far, only one person asked. So either they don't notice, or they don't care!
I got asked if I had 3 wishes to change the health care system for the better, what would they be and why.
Another interviewer asked me what I thought the future of orthopaedics was in relation to clinician vs scientist, and how do we push the frontiers of genetics/molecular medicine as surgeons.
