Hello all. I have a $400 credit at Amazon, and I'm trying to find a book(s) to buy. I was hoping to find one that would be useful, but not likely to be given to me by a rep. Can you make any suggestions? Thanks.

Replied by on topic check out Basic Orthopedic Exams,
check out Basic Orthopedic Exams, by Zachary Child, published by lippincott. A great book for 3rd and 4th year med students to use in rotations.

Get Netter's Orthopedic Anatomy... definite must for services and home study. Thieme musculoskeletal anatomy is also outstanding, but not something you could take with you on the wards. If you want something expensive and more in-depth than you need, you could look at Miller's Review of Orthopedics or the General OKU 8 book. Again, more than you need to know, but if you really wanted to spend the money, you could get them.
