How is it looked to do a 2month away at a program?
do people look at this as he/she really wants to go to that program or will it hurt you? Will other program directors find out about the 2 month elective and not rank you highly because they think you are not as intrested in their program.
If you do really well for one month, you'll stand out in the program's eyes. If you don't do really well that month, you're not going to get the spot. So, the upside is nearly nothing, and the downside is significant. Don't do a 2-month rotation. Do two 1-month rotations and see some different places.
