I have honored two of my rotations of the total 6 that my school has during the third year, we are on an Honors Pass Fail system. I have however been within one percent of honoring the others. All of my comments are very positive as well. Will programs look at the comments included in my deanâs letter or are they mostly just concerned with the letter grade. Thank you up front for your help.
The Dean's letter remains a very important part of the overall process - most programs value it (some do not as evidenced by the fact that they offer interviews before it even arrives!). Don't fret about "just missing" some clinical honors - it's the whole package that will be viewed and will determine your suitability for receiving invitations for interviews.
