How competitive does a DO applicant who is applying to allopathic residencies have to be, and realistically be considered among the other applicants?
For example if above 245 Step I, done research but no publications, and has letters of rec from both DO and MD orthopods that are very good, do they stand close to equal footing with the other applicants when applying and consideration during the match?
