Does anyone know of any PGY-1 prelim surgery programs with curriculum that meets the ACGME criteria for orthopaedic PGY-1? Does anyone even know what the ACGME criteria are?

Replied by on topic I don't know which programs
I don't know which programs meet them, but the criteria are on the ACGME website. Try Google...I found them easily a few days ago.

This is the official document from the ACGME, orthopaedic surgery RRC. Look at the first and second pages. The requirements are set by the ABOS, but the ACGME, ortho RRC ensures they are met.

Some prelim programs will work with you to get the rotations, whereas others will not. Keep in mind that they are under the general surgery department and their interest in you is not to get you into orthopaedics but rather for you to be an intern for them wherever they need one and lighten the call load for their categorical interns. I've spoken to only one prelim at a program that has given them all the rotations for ortho PGY1, and I've spoken to several who are a few rotations short including one who is so far off that this year is basically a complete waste of time. Communicate before you sign the contract. Good luck with the match.
