Interviews while on away rotations? go or not?

Hi,

I was wondering your take on going to interviews while doing away rotations. I am doing an away during a high part of the interview season, and I am wondering whether it is better to pass up on those opportunities or whether the programs expect you to interview on the weekends/fridays.

You should definitely go to the interviews but make sure you let your away rotation preceptor/residents know you're going in advance --
