Iâm currently finishing up my third year of osteopathic medical school. Iâve scheduled some of my away rotations at allopathic institutions and will be applying to several allopathic programs. Iâve taken USMLE Step 1 and am scheduled to take USMLE Step 2 CK. I am not, however, scheduled to take USMLE Step 2 CS. Will it hurt my application in any way if I donât take the CS portion of this exam? I was curious how allopathic programs viewed this part when looking at oneâs residency application.
