Interesting new concept in mentoring miniority medical students who have finished their first 2 years of medical school. Average approximately 10% enhancement of CV content and even greater exposure to Orthopaedics at one of the top 10% residency programs in the country. This is a one year immersion program that exposes the medical student /fellow to all apsects of clinical and basic science principles of Orthopaedics in a highly competitive Orthopaedic residency culture. A generous stipend is provided for living expenses and research.$25,000 stipend. Since the inception of the program there have been 3 graduates. I am the program attending and directed HUCM residency for 13 years and have been with Case Orthopaeddics for 6 years. I would love to hear from all interested medical students. We need to get the word out to all medical schools and identify academically promising minority medical students who want to research, publish papers, attend clinics etc. Google us!
