Of all my school's applicants I'm probably the lowest when it comes to grades and scores. My question would be of the chances of being able to stay @ my home program. Wich by the way is where I would love to match. Does having spent med school there and the familiarity with the program come into consideration? How do selection comittees look at students from their own institution? I don't think I've necesarily impressed tremendously any one there, but I also have not been terrible. I would consider myself the avg applicant, that just so happens wants his home program to train with. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
